Last night I watched the programme 'Trapped inside my body', and I just wanted to say how very brave I thought John and his wife were. Her positive outlook was wonderful and together they seemed to smile through even the toughest challenges. The courage, love and compassion that she showed John was inspirational. I too lost my father to MND 9 years ago when I was 21. Watching the programme brought back all the heartache and struggles my father suffered and seeing John reminded me of him. I weeped for a solid hour whilst remembering my father and what he went through while suffering from this dreadful, cruel disease. Nobody can possibly understand this illness unless you have witnessed it yourself. I wish John's wife and their two beautiful boys my every sympathy and I hope they are able to carry on with their lives as best they can. Best wishes, Bethan, Cardiff
