I lost my mum to Motor Neurone Disease on January 8th 2007. I was 20 years old - nothing i knew or felt could prepare me for what i would feel. Motor Neurone Disease is by far the worst disease i have ever witnessed in my life. When my mum died she asked to keep trying to find a cure for this awful disease - with this in mind myself and my family run charity quiz nights and bootsales to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease. My mum like John was very brave too - i saw a very independent woman lose the will and determination for life. All MND sufferers are in heaven now at peace - that's where i take my comfort from.
