I would just like to thank you JOhn for giving me the most precious years of your life, for giving me two amazing children and for allowing me to be part of your amazing journey. We have had our ups and downs, there have been highs and the lowest of lows but I know that you know I loved you with all my heart. You were my reason to get up in a morning, my reason to carry on and now that you are gone I don't feel life will ever be the same again. Words cannot ever describe how proud I am of you, the way you battled on every day for 6 years and found ways and means of carrying on with each thing that MND took from you. Above all you turned the darkest of moments into light ones with your constant humour without which I doubt any of us could carry on. You were the most handsome man I had ever met, you were brave, kind and most of all your were my silent, unspoken hero. I pray that you will be with me all the time and Samuel says that now your a star in the sky he hopes you are running around, playing football with your new friends Jamie & Sy and eating pepperoni pizza just as you used to.
